COVID-19 Through the Lens of an Individual with ASD: A Case Study

During the summer of 2020, I volunteer with a research group based out of the University of Alberta that gives new graduates and current university students the opportunity to write a book or article on a certain topic. My group was assigned the topic of how COVID-19 impacted a young man with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). My group then conducted a case study that he was the subject of.

Each week, we would convene to ask him questions about his past and how COVID-19 was impacting him at that present moment. The result of our interviews was the publishing of a book that I am very proud of. You can read the full text here.
